Simon was born and raised in Warrington when it was still in Lancashire. He has supported Manchester City all his life, enjoys conspiracy theories (they’re only theories if they aren’t true) and he and his wife enjoy collecting autographs with hundreds in their personal collection including the Apollo 11 astronauts, the pilot of the Enola Gay and Princess Diana. They even owns a piece of the original Titanic. He appeared on Channel 4’s show 4 Rooms, where he sold a Muhammad Ali boxing glove that he used whilst training for his last ever fight to Celia Sawyer for nearly £10,000. He was a roadie for a comedy duo back in the 80’s and has been in most of the working men’s clubs across the north west and parts of Yorkshire. He used to work at the World’s largest indoor karting track at the time. He is happily married to Ann and is a proud Step-Father to two beautiful girls and four amazing grandchildren. If you listen to the Emma & Lee show on a Monday night you will have heard his conspiracy slot which is featured every week. Emma is one of his step- daughters although rumours are that he is on team Carol, lol. He has a love of 80’s music and was over the moon to be invited to do a two hour 80’s slot for Evolve radio on Thursdays between 7 and 9PM.
