Battling Murray exits Indian Wells at hands of Rublev

Andy Murray suffered a second round BNP Paribas Open exit at Indian Wells to Andrey Rublev 7-6 6-1.

A tight first set saw Murray carve out four set points at 5-4 up, but Rublev hung on to take things to 5-5 and then to a tiebreak, which the Russian won 7-3.

The second set proved far more one-sided, with Murray appearing to struggle with a hand blister, as Rublev registered a 6-1 success to win the contest in straight sets.
